The Tripod of Power is one of the more popular and visible icons of Revelwood. Most guests at a Revelwood event have been introduced to the titles or names of the Tripod long before they ever attend a Revelwood function. This results in the inevitable announcement— "Ooh, so you’re (fill in the blank). I’ve heard about you." The names of the throne holders are recognizable, easy to pronounce and fun to say. Each throne represents an aspect of Revelwood that every citizen eventually needs assistance with. Whether that assistance really helps is another matter.

The thrones are: The Intellectual Throne, The Spiritual Throne, and The Physical Throne.  Here is a shot of the original Tripod at "court."
 

WebLord's Note: A significant transition in the Tripod of Power took place at the 16th Annual Pipe and Pint Tavern celebration in October 1999.  Two of the three long-reigning throneholders have stepped down, for reasons outlined elsewhere on this site.
